Adapted from a friend, this cake is a crowd pleaser any time. For a 7 year old to a 60 year old, this is the perfect combination in one perfect bite.

INGREDIENTS:
2 quarts of ice cream (whatever flavor you love!)
1 box of Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate brownie mix with whatever ingredients the box asks for
Whipped cream (either Cool Whip or make fresh)
Grandma's Hot Fudge Sauce
CARAMEL SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
1 packed cup brown sugar
1/2 cup half-and-half
4 tbsp. butter
Pinch salt
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
OREO COOKIE CRUST INGREDIENTS:
24 Oreo cookies
4 tbsp. butter, melted
First make the brownie batter following instructions from the brownie box. Using a round springform pan, pour in batter, and bake using box instructions. (you will be using the same spring form pan for the Oreo crust, so it will have the same shape). Cool. Release from spring form pan and cool completely.
Clean spring form pan for Oreo crust assembly.
Add the Oreos to a food processor and grind into fine crumbs. You do not need to remove the filling from the Oreos. Add the Oreo crumbs to a bowl and combine with the melted butter. Pour the mixture into springform pan (I like to grease mine to ensure no sticking) and press into an even layer on the bottom and up the sides. You can use a glass cup or measuring cup to help press the crust into the bottom of the pan you use to make sure it is tightly packed. Put it in the freezer for about 1/2 hour.
Take out Oreo crust from freezer. Pour caramel sauce on Oreo cookie crust. Soften the ice cream in the microwave just a little so it is easily scooped out. Put on top caramel sauce. Put pan back in the freezer for another 1/2 hour or until ice cream is hard.
Remove from freezer and pour fudge on top of ice cream. Put brownie cake on top of fudge. Cover with plastic wrap or parchment paper. Put back in freezer until ready to serve.
Right before serving decorate with whip cream.
