INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp. cardamon powder
1 tsp. cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp. clove powder
1 inch section of fresh ginger, chopped in small pieces
2 tbsp. loos black tea leaves
1/2 large soup pot of water
1/2 large soup pot milk
1/2 to 1 cup sugar
1 tsp. cardamon powder
1 tsp. cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp. clove powder
1 inch section of fresh ginger, chopped in small pieces
2 tbsp. loos black tea leaves
1/2 large soup pot of water
1/2 large soup pot milk
1/2 to 1 cup sugar
HOW TO:
In a large soup pot, add water until half full. Bring to boil and add 2 tbsp. black tea leaves, spices, and 1 inch section of chopped fresh ginger. Let boil until the mixture is deep red.
Add milk to full pot the rest of the way. Watch carefully as milky tea comes to a boil - turn off heat to prevent boiling over.
Add 1/2 to 1 cup sugar at this stage. Pour through strainer into a large teapot or individual mugs.
